King’s Lynn Caravan and Camping Park (KLCC) is a 5-star leisure facility set within 10 acres of beautiful parkland on the edge of the North Runcton, Norfolk. They provide pods, lodges, motorhomes, touring and camping pitches for holidaymakers who like a ‘little bit extra’ when looking for a home from home.
KLCC contacted RESYN as the male and female shower and toilet block floors were starting to lose their slip resistance. They were also starting to crack and blister and were no longer fit for purpose or up to KLCC’s high standards.
Project Requirements
With sustainability an important consideration at KLCC, they required upgraded resin flooring to provide the facility with a fresh look and a hardwearing finish. Because the existing flooring was failing, excessive water and cleaning products were needed for maintenance. But this conflicted with KLCC’s sustainability ethos.
The upgraded resin flooring was 112m2 of Degafloor 1mm Roller Coat in Oyster grey with 128Lm of cove overcoat . This helped to refresh and renew the existing resin floor. The installation time was swift with minimal disruption to the park or the patrons.
