Lincolnshire Co-op, a valued client we have worked with on multiple store projects, once again entrusted us to install a durable and aesthetic flooring solution for their Sleaford store refurbishment.
The team were required to remove and dispose of the existing vinyl in skips provided by RESYN, before installing the resin finish.
The client specifically requested the Degafloor Flake System for the 258sqm refurbishment, a high-quality resin flooring solution that we have previously installed in other Lincolnshire Co-op locations. The MMA resin solution has a fast cure time, meaning the shop could be refitted after just 2 hours.
Resin flooring is the preferred choice for Lincolnshire Co-op due to its superior durability compared to traditional flooring options such as tiles and vinyl. High-foot traffic areas, such as around the tills, are prone to excessive wear. A robust flooring solution is required to prevent this, which is where resin is more suitable than other options that are more sensitive to wear and impact.
To minimise disruption to store operations, our team efficiently completed the installation over two back-to-back shifts. This approach ensured a quick turnaround, allowing the store to resume normal operations as quickly as possible
