Epoxy Self-Levelling Floors

Self-levelling floors for industrial environments

Epoxy self-levelling floors are hardwearing flow-applied resin flooring. This flooring system is typically smooth, single-coloured, and glossy in appearance.

Flo-applied flooring

FeRFA ( The Resin Flooring Association) categorises epoxy self-levelling floor screeds as a ‘Type 5’ medium to heavy duty flow applied flooring, with a typical thickness of 1-3mm.

Medium to heavy-duty flooring is suitable for regular foot traffic, frequent fork lift traffic, occasional hard plastic-wheeled trolleys and some impact.

Ideal specification areas

Epoxy self-levelling flooring has high levels of chemical resistance, ideal for pharmaceutical production areas. The smooth, seamless and impervious finish makes epoxy the perfect specification for environments where a strict cleaning regime is crucial. For example, in food and drink manufacturing facilities.

Epoxy resins are typically smooth in appearance, however it is possible to achieve a textured, slip-resistant finish by adding aggregates.
