Why RESYN?

In response to the enquiry, our Technical Sales Manager conducted a thorough site survey. Following a detailed analysis of substrate conditions, workshop traffic and environmental factors, the Resincoat RS EP Coat HB system was recommended for the project. This industrial-grade, high-build epoxy coating offers excellent durability and resistance, making it ideal for floors exposed to regular foot traffic and vehicle use.

Preparing the surface correctly was essential to ensuring long-term performance of the epoxy resin system. The existing power floated concrete surface was mechanically prepared using a combination of shotblasting and grinding to remove contaminants, and to ensure a strong bond to the resin system was achieved.

Once the concrete had been fully prepared, a damp-proof primer was applied to seal the surface and prevent any issues caused by potential moisture within the slab.

The installation took place over three-day shifts to allow for intercoat curing periods. During this time, our team worked alongside several other contractors who were also operating within the facility. Our installers stayed on schedule and handed over in time for TENTE to move into their new workshop the following Monday.
