Why RESYN?

After a comprehensive site survey, RESYN concluded that KDR’s 9mm Polyscreed HF system was the best flooring solution for the bakery. However, prior to the application of the resin, KDR’s Polybulk, a heavy-duty polyurethane-based floor, screed underlayment, was required to level out areas within the existing production area.

With a newly installed concrete base within the new extension and the levelled areas within the existing, the KDR Resin System bonded securely to the substrates. The polyurethane-based system offers exceptional resistance to water, oils, and other common substances found in a bakery environment, ensuring long-lasting performance. Installed at a 9mm depth it can also offer excellent resistance to higher temperatures which is typically required for bakery production areas.

To finish the installation, coved skirting was applied to the areas to create a seamless and hygienic surface.

Thanks to RESYN’s expertise, Burns the Bread now has a hygienic, high-performance flooring system tailored to their requirements.
